June 16/2026 The Vanishing Witnesses of the Lindsay Buziak Murder. Why did they disappear

COLD RED PODCAST

The Lindsay Buziak Case: Victimology
On February 2nd, 2008, Lindsay Buziak — a 24-year-old real estate agent in Victoria, British Columbia — was lured to a showing at 1702 De Sousa Place by a couple she had never met. The listing was fake. The buyers were killers. Lindsay was found stabbed to death inside the empty house. Her friend Deanna described her to the Saanich News six days after the murder: ‘Lindsay was a ray of sunshine, a beautiful person inside and out. She had an amazing smile and tons of energy. Most of all, she had a reputation for trustworthiness.’
Eighteen years later, no one has been charged. The Saanich Police Department has never taken their case file to Crown Council — a fact confirmed on camera by a senior sergeant in 2018. The case remains one of the most analyzed unsolved murders in Canadian true crime history, surrounded by a pattern of witness silence that deepens with every passing year.
