NOVEMBER 2/2025 Happy Birthday Lindsay – “Her mom’s video – a Plea for Help”
24-year-old Saanich realtor Lindsay Buziak was stabbed to death on February 2, 2008 inside a vacant home she was showing at 1702 DeSousa Place Saanich.
Her murder remains unsolved. Her mother Evelyn has just released a video asking that everyone help spread the message far and wide that the Saanich Police are no longer working the case. She is upset to learn that Lindsay’s case is no longer an active investigation, and that the investigators who were assigned to the case have been transferred to other departments. This is devastating news for all of us and this news puts the Saanich Police in a very bad light.
However, this is not the 1st time that the Saanich Police have shut down the investigation. They did this a few years ago then unexpectedly brought it back to life. To all of you reading this, if you have any information that could help solve this case make a call to the Saanich Police Department and insist on speaking with an officer who is willing to listen to what you have to say.

Lindsay’s family has waited 18 years to see justice for their beautiful daughter Lindsay. Someone out there has that important piece of information that could really help bring Lindsay the justice she so rightfully deserves.
The police continue to call this an active investigation even though they have now shut it down for the 2nd time. If they called it a cold case, then legally the family would have the right to access the case files. By insisting it is still an active investigation, the police can continue to withhold all information. The question is, why is it so important that they keep the family from getting access to the files. Just what are they trying to hide?
