Nov 15/2025 Lindsay Buziak Murder – Jason Zailo knows exactly what happened.

It comes as no surprise to hear that the Saanich Police have once again shut down the lindsay Buziak murder investigation
but what I find most offensive is how they dare to tell the family that there are people in Victoria who know what happened but won’t talk. Only a pathetic, incompetent police department would lay the blame for their failure to arrest on people who won’t come forward? 18 years and this is the best excuse they can come up with for not being able to solve this horrific brutal murder of a young woman who should still be with us today.
What has become of our society that we are all so afraid to stand up for what is right. Our silence is exactly what the conspirators have counted on all these years. These silent ones have all the excuses in the world why they won’t speak up, whether it be fear for their own family’s life, fear of their friends finding out how cowardly they’ve been all these years or is it simply this is their true character – who they really are!
Anyone believing that it was the Mexican cartel that murdered Lindsay is delusional and for the police to have led us all in that direction right after Lindsay’s murder is disgustingly disgraceful.
Do you really believe the cartel would take the time to set up this elaborate scheme, use fake buyers to set up a real estate showing, and lure Lindsay to a vacant house. Let’s not forget local gangster Shane Wilson who in March 4/2021, was shot & killed as he sat in his vehicle in the 4600 block of Kangaroo Road – off Badger Place out Metchosin way. And in the passenger seat beside him sat his young girlfriend who held Shane in her arms while he was dying, singing “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine”. No elaborate plan, no lure, just a quick bullet to the head and he was gone. That’s how gangs take care of business folks.
The people who are staying silent about what happened to Lindsay Buziak are living “right under our noses”, and the god damn cops have been protecting this one family for years. Who better knows what happened to Lindsay than Jason Zailo himself. The boyfriend who was supposed to be at the DeSousa home to protect her, but arrived late, then waited outside for 30 minutes before making his move. His statement on Dateline, “I touched her skin, and knew she had passed away”, then years later claims he gave her CPR, whereby he just happened to get covered in her blood. How very convenient.
The ongoing sentiment of the majority suggests that the Zailo’s were somehow “alledgedly” involved in Lindsay’s murder.
The finger pointing all began after the 2010 Dateline Show Dreamhouse Mystery aired, and it’s continued on multiple media platforms over the years. It’s possible they are innocent as hell, but it’s also possible they are guilty as hell. Not once have they ever come forward to defend themselves and seriously, isn’t that what innocent people do? This family chose to lie on Dateline and people will never forget that. Then, over the last eighteen years, they have been caught up in a multitude of other lies. One lie to cover the previous lie, and there lies the truth. The Zailo’s silence have put them in the position they are in today.
To think that the Capital Daily News, in 2022, had the audacity to run a story about Lindsay’s murder, giving their support to the Zailo family, at the same going out of their way to try and destroy the credibility of Lindsay’s father blows my mind. Yeh, her dad may have lied a few times but so fucking what if he did. He was trying to get to the truth, using a few unorthodox methods. Hell, his daughter was brutally murdered (stabbed to death) in that 1702 DeSousa home and he has spent the last 18 years fighting to find out who is responsible. Personally, if this was my child I probably would have taken care of business myself by now and not waited for those fucking clueless cops to do their job.
That news story gave Shirley Zailo all the ammunition she needed to sue Lindsay’s father. Even though she didn’t have the evidence – a leg to stand on she was determined to make his life a living hell. That was 3-years ago now and what’s become of that lawsuit. Fuck all! Her two witnesses were proven to not be credible, and she knew damn well that if this went to trial a lot of dirt about her family would be exposed. I have no doubt that the judge would have ruled in Lindsay’s dad’s favor. Maybe I will be the next one to get sued by this unscrupulous family, well please, if you feel inclined, please bring it on.
All these inuendos – possible misinformation about the Zailo’s could have been resolved years ago if they would have just come forward to explain certain things.
The Zailo’s refusal to join forces with Lindsay’s father to find out who murdered Lindsay was very telling. If you love someone, as Jason claimed he loved Lindsay he would have been front and centre trying to get to the truth of what happened. It only makes sense that Jason hasn’t stepped forward to help because he already knows exactly why Lindsay was murdered and who is responsible.
It’s even possible that the Zailo’s were threatened and ordered to play their part in Lindsay’s murder. Maybe they felt they had no choice, it was Lindsay or them and their sense of survival took over. She was lured to the DeSousa home by someone who had a great knowledge of real estate, someone who knew Lindsay’s schedule, every move she made, and knew that Lindsay had a great desire to further her career and needed money to support her business. Lindsay saw something she shouldn’t have seen, and Jason knows exactly what that was.
Some say that if Lindsay was a witness to the zailo’s money-laundering for drug dealers,
it would not be justification to have Lindsay murdered. But that is so not true. If someone’s livelihood and career have been threatened by a young woman who is about expose their criminal activities that is a definite motive to have her removed from this world. Interesting too, that in November 2007 Lindsay was telling all her friends that she was planning on leaving Jason in the New Year. Then lo and behold Lindsay goes on a New Years/Xmas Whistler vacation with the Zailo family and does a complete about turn and decides to give her relationship with Jason another try. And Jason, why did your family take the drug trafficker Ziggy Matheson on that Whistler trip with you?
And what about Jason showering her with expensive Xmas gifts that year. Sounds like they were doing their utmost to keep Lindsay close in the hopes she wouldn’t leave. Did they promise Lindsay that what they were doing would stop? If that wasn’t it, then tell us why Lindsay changed her mind so quickly and decided to give it another try with Jason. Was Jason’s good friend Greg Martel involved with whatever was going on at that time? Lindsay’s 2007 birthday party picture with Jason holding the knife and Greg Martel smiling is as telling as it gets.
It’s unfortunate that here in BC white collar crime has not been a priority. Martel was reported to various policing and regulatory bodies years ago, yet a blind eye was turned by all. And if the BC Securities Commission (BCFSA) had taken the 2016 employee complaints made against Greg Martel seriously, this lowlife self-absorbed money driven ego maniac would not have had the opportunity to steal money from so many good hard-working people. Yes, that’s right. Greg Martel, the Ponzi Scheme fraudster who stole $233M from friends, hockey associates, business associates and anyone else who was naive enough to fall prey to his schemes. Jason’s good friend at the time of Lindsay murder.
This video was sent to me just yesterday. This chap has done an in-depth analysis of Jason’s behavior at the house, picking up on every intricate detail of what took place the night of Lindsay’s murder https://youtu.be/P02eKI0QYhQ?si=eg7OKP-9P5G-f_RJ
If Jason would only answer a few questions – clear up a few misunderstandings perhaps then we could start up a blog in support of him.
Jason, could you please tell us why you are holding up that knife in the photo with you and Greg and just who was it that was taking the picture. More importantly, tell us why, after leaving the police station the morning after Lindsay’s murder you chose to contact your drug dealing friend Chris Schwartz and ask to come over. You do know who I am talking about don’t you Jason?
So, 10:00 pm that night you show up at his #410 condo located at the same 68 Songhees Road address where you & Lindsay lived. It seems your story as to why you were there differs from Chris Schwartz’s story as to why you were there. As you are both pathological liars, I would suggest that neither of your stories ring true.
Jason, was Chris Schwartz the guy who went into the DeSousa home that night? Is that why you needed to get to his condo so quickly that night? I mean, that guy does have one of the longest rap sheets I have ever seen. Why would a clean living guy like you want to be hanging around a guy like that. Why is it that you needed to step out on the patio for 20 minutes so you could talk in private.
Shouldn’t you have been at home grieving for the loss of your girlfriend,
the one you claimed you loved so dearly. We know that when Chris Schwartz moved over from the mainland years earlier, you were the one who introduced him to Ziggy Matheson. At that time Chris was buying his product/cocaine from the HA on the mainland, and you wanted to have him buy his coke from Ziggy. After all, Ziggy was your good friend, hockey buddy and the guy your mother rented her Langford stash house to. We also know that Ziggy gave all his drug money to your mother and only kept enough for his living expenses.
Were you guys’ laundering Ziggy’s drug money, and maybe for Schwartz and other drug dealers too. Were you funneling that money out of BC into a foreign country somewhere secret. Can you share that secret squirrel information with us please?
And Jason, I thought you said in an interview that you didn’t want to appear to be a nosey boyfriend and that’s why you waited outside in your truck. What happened to your first story Jason – that Lindsay asked you to be there because she was fearful of going alone. If that was the true story you would have stormed into that house without a second thought. All of your stories are full of contradictions.
Jason, can you tell us about the listing that Lindsay had at #106 2823 Jacklin Road
listed October 17/2007. It seems you sold that property to a guy by the name of Neil Vallieres on November 19/2007. At least that is the name on the mortgage document. Must admit though, the borrower’s signature on the mortgage document is a scribble it is impossible to read the name. Interesting too, because there is no record of Neil Vallieres listed with the Insurance Council of B.C. There is a Neil Vallieres listed as a Claims officer in Lebring Austria, but no other information with it. Could this be a straw buyer situation?
Interesting too that the mortgage documents show Vallieres as a claims officer but does not list his current address only the Jacklin road address, the property he is about to take ownership of. The other thing about this property is that the purchase price on the real estate documents show that Neil paid $247,000. If this is correct Jason, then how is it that the mortgage on the property at the time of purchase is $256,000? The mortgage amount should never exceed the purchase price. Then we have a quick re-list of the property & additional mortgages added without the 1st mortgage being discharged.
This looks a lot like a non-arm’s-length transaction or a pre-arranged sale, which apparently is a common red flag for layering or integrating illicit funds into real estate.
The only guy with a similar name to this Vallieres guy, is a Neil Valliere who lives in Kamloops. He’s a guy who was charged with murdering his live-in girlfriend back in 2001. In the end, he was found not guilty of manslaughter but admitted to a lesser charge of causing an indignity to a human body. He claimed he killed her in self-defense, but everyone knows that was a bs story. Neil claimed that his girlfriend came at him with a knife. Do you happen to know that guy Jason?
I wonder if this transaction could unlock the mystery to Lindsay’s murder?
While we’re at it let’s take a look at another property that you listed in January 08.
John Semren’s condo #102 2710 Grosvenor Road. Your brother Ryan was the selling agent on that one. What I find most interesting about this sale is who the buyer was – Adela Forjan. Adela was a part-time bartender at the time, and only 21-years old. I’d be interested too to find how just how she qualified for the mortgage on that property. Your family certainly has a knack for connecting with all the gangster type people in Victoria. In 2005 Adela was arrested on drug-trafficking charges, along with the notorious drug trafficker Nicholas Lucier. Just wondering where Adela came up with the downpayment for the condo.
Some of these matters could be cleared up so easily. All the Zailo’s have to do is reach out to Lindsay’s dad, arrange a personal meeting where everything can be explained to her dad’s satisfaction. If only this had been done years earlier, the negativity towards the Zailo family may have never gotten so far out of control.
LET’S NOT FORGET THE #218 68 SONGHEES CONDO THAT YOUR MOTHER SHIRLEY PURCHASED IN 2007, THEN CONVENIENTLY REGISTERED THE PROPERTY IN RYAN’S NAME.
A purchase price in the $400’s. By registering the property in Ryan’s name, and with Ryan being a 1st time buyer, Shirley Zailo avoided paying the property purchase tax. Then, just two months after registration a “private mortgage” in Shirley’s name was registered against the property. What a way to avoid taxes and hide your money if you are so inclined. Ryan Zailo never lived in this residence; it was rented out for years until it finally sold in 2017.
Lindsay & Jason lived in Shirley’s Shawnigan Lake waterfront property for a few months in early summer 2007. By late August, Lindsay desperately wanted to get away from there & move back into town. Her & Jason took Shirley up on her offer to live at the #218 68 Songhees condo. Then only a few months later Lindsay was dead. Interesting too, that was just around the time that Kyle MacDonald went missing, and drug trafficker Ziggy Matheson one of the last people to see him alive. To this day, Ryan & Ziggy are still best buddies.

Thank you for the invite to sign this very important issue. I hope enough other people get the chance to read Harry Armstrong’s Petition letter, so that we can finally put an end to the greed that has now become REAL ESTATE…..
A lot of people, Realtors & sellers, have gotten rich. I have a sister and 2 nephews in the business and have sat back and watched them all become very rich indulging in this unbelievable misconduct. Please, everyone who reads this Petition, please sign it….
Like everyone else out there I recently listened to the heartbreaking video that Lindsay’s mom did.
She is begging for someone to come forward with information that could help to solve Lindsay’s murder, and without a doubt she deserves to know what happened to her daughter as do the rest of Lindsay’s family and friends. This is more heartache than any mother should have to bear and how brave of her to step up and do what she did. The Saanich Police have let this family down, and now the only hope for justice for Lindsay is for someone to come forward with information that could lead to arrests.
REAL ESTATE MONEY LAUNDERING:
Involves intricate methods to conceal illicit funds within legitimate transactions.
Utilizes front companies, shell companies, straw buyers, and false appraisals.
Can distort property prices and impact the economy and communities.
Often involved large sums of cash, complex transactions, and little oversight.
Criminals purchase real estate using cash and conceal ownership through shell companies.
MORTGAGE FRAUD RED FLAGS
Someone offers you money to use your name and credit information to obtain a mortgage
You are encouraged to include false information on a loan application
You are asked to leave signature lines or other important areas on a loan application blank.
The loan amount on the mortgage is significantly higher than the value of the property
The property has been refinanced several times, and, in each instance, the amount of the mortgage has increased.
